Chief Fire is an American manufacturer located in the Greater Philadelphia area. Our mission is to develop and deliver the most innovative and performance driven hazard control solutions in the world. Our specialised team of engineers work tirelessly to provide a tailored solution to the customer.
The Boost Pumping System is driven by an industrial power unit and either mounted within a skid or on a trailer. The pump can be either an end-suction or horizontal split case. The Boost Pumping Series can operate as either a single pump unit located at the draft source or in a series as a relay pump. The unit is equipped with passive safety features such as engine monitoring and prevention of over-pressurisation of the discharge hose. The Boost Pumping Series also features a Spectrum control panel that allows both RPM control or discharge pressure control, allowing the user flexibility during operation.

The Hybrid Pumping Series is the pinnacle of high-volume, high-pressure water supply. Combining the Boost Pumping Series and Floating Source Pump into one module, the Hybrid Pumping System seamlessly integrates high-volume remote sourcing ability with high boost pressures. As a singular unit, it allows the replacement of multiple firetrucks and remote pumping systems at the water source to provide needed emergency water. Having a single compact unit improves set-up time and site logistics with fewer systems to oversee.
Otter™ Pump Commissioning
The World’s First Patent-Pending Composite Floating Source Pump
On November 10, 2017, we had a demonstration with the help of the East Brandywine Fire Department. Here is some drone footage of the successful test.
Municipal Firefighting Solutions
A sneak peek into what makes Chief Fire’s products one-of-a-kind. Our goal is simple: To elevate the municipal firefighting industry to help save lives.
Mobile Monitor System Testing
Testing the Javelin-HD
November 2017 – We tested the Javelin-HD Mobile Monitor while our friends from Elkhart Brass Company were in town. The Javelin-HD is a lightweight trailer-mounted monitor capable of delivering up to 5,000 GPM (18,927 LPM) of water/foam solution.

Chief Fire: Fun at Work
Drone footage & testing
At Chief Fire, our products set us apart. We place all our time and effort into providing the best possible solutions. Seen here: A little fun while testing some of the latest products.
The Otter™ pump is the world’s first ultra-lightweight fully composite submersible pump used for remote water sourcing and flood control operations. The Power Unit can be mounted on a standard pick up truck with a 6.5’ bed and a 2750lb payload. Using the latest advancements in composite body technology, the Otter™ (Patent pending) weighs in at only 85 lbs (38.5 kg), while still being able to produce flows up to 2000 GPM (7570 LPM). Being physically manageable by one or two firefighting personnel is a unique deployment advantage, greatly simplifying loading and general use.
Due to its unique lightweight design, the main power unit can remain at an easily accessible location (i.e. street level) while the pump is carried/lowered to the remote water source (subway tunnels, flood channels, etc.) up to 100 feet away (depending on the hydraulic umbilical length). The discharge connection on the Otter™ uses a standard 5” Storz adapter, which can be further adapted to multiple lines to reduce pressure loss for the pump.
The Javelin-HD is a lightweight trailer-mounted monitor capable of delivering up to 5,000 GPM (18,927 LPM) of water/foam solution. Designed to be towed by a light-duty truck, the monitor can be quickly delivered to the developing hazard and put to work once available hose lines and pumping systems have been attached. Monitor control can be accomplished through manual hand-wheels by a single firefighter or remotely through electric motors. The Javelin-HD is standard fitted with the Scorpio-III selectable flow foam nozzle with the foam connection pre-piped into the trailer deck.
Self-Educting (0-3%) or Water Only
The Crossbow is a fast response mobile monitor trailer nominally rated to 6,000 GPM (22,712 LPM). A stable platform allows the unit 360 degrees horizontal coverage. All piping is stainless steel with four 5” Storz inlets provided. Various other inlet options are available as well as unit customization (flow rate, color, electric/wireless control, etc.). A Ballast version is also available.
6 or 8 Inch
Straight Bore or Fog/Straight
The Longbow is a mobile monitor trailer rated up to 12000 GPM using folding outriggers for extra stability. The extended platform and footprint allows the unit 360 degrees horizontal coverage. All piping is stainless steel with a standard 12” Storz inlet provided. Various other inlet options are available as well as unit customization (flow rate, color, electric/wireless control, etc.).
