KONG Karabiner Stainless Steel D Shape Screwgate – 35kN
The 511.L3 is the stainless steel version of Kong’s best-selling screw sleeve carabiner.
Like the carbon steel version, this is equipped with Keylock system that prevents any snagging on the rope and in the bolts. The X-Large size is designed to offer a wide gate opening and a high tensile strength, while the D shape prevents the rotation of the carabiner and allows to distribute the load along the major axis. The screw sleeve is easy to open even wearing gloves.
The AISI 316 steel is used in aggressive environments where there are many corrosive factors that are prolonged over time, for example marine areas, saline environments, and areas with the presence of chemical substances. It is therefore a perfect product for use in the nautical world but also in food and chemicals industry.
