ZOLL AED Plus®

Setting the benchmark for design, dependability, durability, and performance

Empowering bystanders to help in a heartbeat

Only half of sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) victims will initially need a shock, but all will require high-quality CPR. Designed to remove the guesswork, the ZOLL AED Plus defibrillator provides real-time feedback through simple audio and visual prompts to ensure that users deliver the best possible CPR. If necessary, the device will deliver a defibrillating shock to the victim.

Not all AEDs are created equal

Research has shown that ZOLL® defibrillators equipped with Real CPR Help® – providing real-time feedback for depth and rate of chest compressions – combined with training more than double an SCA victim’s chance of survival from cardiac arrest. 1

  • Automatic self-testing helps ensure a state of readiness
  • Fully automatic feature available
  • IP55 can withstand conditions such as extreme temperature, altitude, vibration and shock
  • Off-the-shelf lithium batteries (Duracell 123a) with a 5-year battery life
  • Intelligent paediatric capability: Pedi-padz® paediatric electrodes can be purchased separately for children up to eight years old or weighing less than 25 kilograms

Lives are not saved by AEDs alone. People save lives – using AEDs. Integrated, real-time feedback provides visual and audio prompts to “push harder” or confirm when you are doing “good compressions”, keeping you on track to administer high-quality CPR.

Speed is critical when treating a cardiac arrest victim. ZOLL’s CPR-D-padz® electrodes feature a unique one-piece design to ensure easy and accurate placement. Electrodes come with a rescue accessory kit that includes scissors, gloves, a mask, and other items.

Designed to withstand harsh environments and temperature extremes, the AED Plus has an ingress protection (IP) rating of IP55, which means it is highly resistant to dust and moisture.

Industry-leading batteries and pads that last five years mean fewer replacements, less maintenance, and an AED that’s ready when needed.

PlusTrac™ AED management software helps you track and manage pad and battery expiries, monitor the certification expiry dates of volunteer responders and keep track of your compliance with local AED regulations.
