The new enhanced HAIX Fire Eagle is a slimmer and lighter version of the previous model.

Weighing in at less than 1,000 grammes, it sets the standards for a new generation of fire fighter safety boots.

The new HAIX Fire Eagle was first presented at the specialist Interschutz fair in 2015 and has been perfectly adapted to meet the needs of its target clientele.

As well as being especially light, this is a boot which also offers plenty of comfort and robustness. Its black and yellow design, which extends from the toe cap to the sole area, lends it the appearance of a modern sports shoe.

Uppers
Waterproof leather, hydrophobised, breathable, 2.0 – 2.2 mm thick

Inner lining
CROSSTECH® Laminate Technology, waterproof and breathable. Abrasion-proof lining fabric for optimum climate comfort at all times of the year, especially when frequently moving between indoors and outdoors. Excellent penetration protection against blood and other bodily fluids (thus preventing ingress of viruses and bacteria).

Inlay
Comfortable with cushioning and moisturewicking effect. Separate heel cup ensures optimised cushioning and foot guidance. “AIRFLOW” channels. “Perfect Fit” marking for optimised boot size choice.

HAIX® composite protective cap
Anatomically shaped, ultra-light protective cap made of fibre-reinforced plastic to meet the very highest safety requirements.

Insole
Moisture-absorbent fleece insole.

HAIX® High Durability Cap System
TPU cap with special profile to ensure longer service life.

HAIX® protective sole
Flexible, lightweight metal sole insert to prevent punctures.

Sole
Lightweight rubber/PU sole in a sports style with a sturdy road/rough terrain profile, and enhanced toe-to-heel support; wear-resistant with excellent anti-slip properties – even in cold weather. A lightweight PU shock absorption wedge provides outstanding walking comfort and excellent thermal insulation. The flame-resistant outer sole is non-marking according to EN 15090:2012 and offers excellent resistance against heat and fuels. Its bright yellow signal marks are visible even through thick smoke.

HAIX® Arch Support System
Optimum ankle support and shock absorption in the arch area is provided by an anatomically formed last. Good foot guidance and a secure hold thanks to a narrow heel and ankle shaft combined with added comfort offered by a broad front foot area.

Three different boot inserts enable you to adjust the boot to the width of your feet.

HAIX® Climate System
Micro-dry lining around the upper end of the shaft uses the natural pumping motion generated as you walk along to transport moisture to ventilation slits at the shaft and tongue.

HAIX® RAPIDFIT System
Two-zone lacing system for quick and optimum lacing adjustment and correct fit of the boot. An integrated protector offers additional safety.

Sun Reflect
Reduces the heating effect produced on the upper leather by the sun’s rays. Sunlight is reflected by the leather, thus ensuring that less warmth is directed to the foot.
