CSR2 PULLEYS
CSR2-CE PULLEYS
HD PULLEYS
The design of our redesigned CSR2 (Confined Space Rescue) Pulley is stronger yet lighter and incorporates 7/16 in (11 mm) to 1/2 in (13 mm) life safety rope. Ideal for industrial applications as well as many rescue operations, the CSR2 uses our proprietary, patented locking system, which eliminates a toothed cam or Prusik so it can be easily and safely released while under load. (The absence of the toothed cam means that even if the system is fully collapsed and pulled tight, it can still be released easily. Systems using a toothed cam must be raised even further before the cam can be released, which can be impossible if the system is fully collapsed without thinking about this problem ahead of time – causing potential problems with the load on the system becoming stuck.) An integral thrust-bearing swivel reduces torque by aligning the pulley with the load, thereby increasing efficiency and safety. Its larger size allows for the easy application of rescue-size carabiners.
Machined from a solid block of aircraft-grade aluminum, the CSR2 features a high-strength aluminum side plate, sealed bearings and anodized aluminum sheaves. The side becket location allows for maximum lift height and full retraction of the system, and a removable becket cover facilitates changing out lifeline with sewn terminations.

No detail has been overlooked in our redesign of the ProSeries® Pulleys. Built workhorse tough to deliver years of dependable service, these HD (Heavy Duty) Pulleys are loaded with enhanced features including:
Note: Do not load a single side only of a double-sheave pulley.
PMP SWIVEL PULLEY
SWIVEL DOUBLE PULLEY
PMP SWIVEL PULLEY 2.6
Our new Prusik-minding pulley (PMP) is ideal for high anchor points or tripod use. The rotating swivel aligns the rope with the direction of the pull. Its stainless steel sheave can be used with either rescue rope or wire cable. By combining the swivel with the pulley, overall system length is minimized, increasing travel. The patented pivoting side plate allows the rope to be quickly inserted.
• Stainless steel sheave allows use with wire cable
• Prusik-minding side plate opens without having to disconnect the pulley from the anchor
• A double-detent button prevents accidental opening of side plate
• Sealed ball bearings provide maximum efficiency
In addition to technical rope rescue applications; for the rope access equipment cache or rope access hardware kit in need of rounding out or in need of enhancement, the PMP Swivel Pulley can be a quality rope access gear addition.
The Swivel Double Pulley features aluminum sheaves and an integrated becket for building mechanical advantage systems. This double pulley is an excellent addition to rescue and rope access gear caches that need to be rounded out or enhanced.
Do not load a single side only of a double sheave pulley.
The larger sized Prusik-minding pulley (PMP) Swivel 2.6 is ideal for industrial rescue use where maximum pulley efficiency and strength is important. The rotating swivel aligns the rope with the direction of the pull. By combining the swivel with the pulley, overall system length is minimized, increasing travel. The patented pivoting side plate allows the rope to be quickly inserted.
PMP SWIVEL PULLEY 1.1
RESCUE PULLEY
CSR2 PULLEY SYSTEM™
NOW CERTIFIED to NFPA 1983 – Technical Use
PATENTED
The compact, lightweight Prusik-minding pulley (PMP) Swivel 1.1 is ideal for backcountry use where every packable ounce matters. The rotating swivel aligns the rope with the direction of the pull. By combining the swivel with the pulley, overall system length is minimized, increasing travel. The patented pivoting side plate allows the rope to be quickly inserted.
This lightweight, full-strength, Prusik-minding pulley is ideal for mountain rescue, swiftwater, or other technical teams where equipment weight is a significant consideration. By machining the side plates, the thickness of the metal can be varied to maximize the strength-to-weight ratio, a process that cannot be done with traditional bent metal side plates. Sealed ball bearings provide high efficiency and aluminum side plates protect the rope. An extremely low-profile stainless steel axle assembly reduces snagging on rocks, roots, and uneven surfaces. Designed for lifeline up to 1/2 inch (13 mm) in diameter.
The patented locking mechanism in our updated CSR2 Pulley™ is easy to release under load, creating much greater efficiency with the lowering and raising necessary to a confined space rescue. The machined aluminum swivels at both ends of the system eliminate any potential twisting of the lines. This system is also an excellent choice for confined space entry or rope access work where a heavy-duty pulley system is desired. Systems comes completed reeved and packed into its storage bag ready to use.
PROTECH™ PULLEYS
KOOTENAY ULTRA PULLEY
AZTEK OMNI PULLEYS
Ideal for mountain rescue, swift water, ski patrol, tower work or other technical uses, where equipment weight is a significant consideration, these lightweight, full-strength Prusik-minding pulleys feature extremely low-profile stainless steel hardware to reduce snagging on rocks, roots, and uneven surfaces. By machining the side plates, the thickness of the metal can be optimized to maximize the strength-to-weight ratio, a process that cannot be done with the traditional bent metal side plates. The unique axle assembly delivers a smooth side plate and impressive strength. The aluminum sheave is mounted on sealed ball bearings for high efficiency. Ideal for small block-and-tackle kits.
Note: Not compatible with 1/2-in (12.5-mm) or larger ropes.
Do not load a single side only of a double sheave pulley.
Our Kootenay Ultra Pulley is the most functional, versatile knot-passing and high-strength tie-off pulley available. For high lines, the rigging holes allow for optimum separation of tag lines and hoist ropes for reeving variations. For English and Norwegian reeves, a greater spread between the hoist pulleys significantly reduces the chance of inadvertent spinning of the load. Separate rigging holes make rigging easier and also prevent carabiners from binding against each other. For high-strength tie-offs, the integrated sheave-lock pin inserts easily into the sheave-lock hole from its stowed axle position. The strong, durable anodized aluminum sheave is fitted with sealed ball bearings for long wear and high efficiency
The AZTEK OMNI pulley blocks and sheaves are machined from solid aluminum, feature swivel connection points, and utilize high-efficiency bearings. These pulleys were developed in the early 2000’s by Reed Thorne of Sedona based Ropes That Rescue. The AZTEK system has become a valuable multipurpose tool of rescue and technical rope access practitioners. The AZTEK pulleys are offered individually or included in our AZTEK ProSeries System (item # 500104).
Note: The Slate blue pulley includes the AZTEK quick release pin and the Orange pulley comes with the side becket cover and screw.
